Gator Construction Group Inc. began operating as a specialty coating and concrete restoration company in 2013 with one office in Calgary. Since then, Gator has expanded into a group of companies that includes general contracting for various construction projects, application of specialty coatings, concrete build and restoration, and engineering with offices in Calgary, Red Deer, and Edmonton. Gator is currently seeking to hire a Senior Construction Estimator to lead and grow the estimating department.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum 10 years of estimating experience in industrial and commercial projects inclusive of civil, concrete, steel, and masonry scopes. Gator is a General Contracting firm and therefore taking on projects that require will require knowledge to engage architectural, mechanical, electrical, and landscape subtrades.
The ideal candidate will be required to obtain and produce accurate cost estimates for assigned tenders, evaluate bid specifications and drawings, perform conceptual budgets, design-build and hard estimates including unit pricing, quantity takeoffs, and sub-contractor pricing.
Schedule: Monday to Friday
